Theo's first week back on the island and straight into the tours, bright skies most days but with a cold northerly wind.

Monday started strong with lots of eagles showing off, including a low flyover Juvenile Golden eagle. Then 2 sets of mother and single otter cubs, including a really dinky <6 month old cub.

Tuesdays tour saw us find a lovely summer plumage Black-throated Diver, a large flock of Whooper Swans, quartering Hen Harriers, Golden and White-tailed Eagles soaring high above.

Wednesdays tour, joined by sharp-eyed Dave Sexton was highlighted by 5 Hen Harriers to start the day including a brief skydance, an Otter feasting on the foreshore and an unbelievably close roadside encounter with 2 perched White-tailed Eagles. A fishing Little Egret ended the day.

Finishing the guiding week on Thursday. Our 1st Wheatears of the year, displaying Golden Eagles, 5 leaping Common Dolphins and 3 Otters to finish, inc a mother and large cub rolling around in the afternoon sun.
