Weather: finally a dry morning! cloudy and a moderate breeze before rain start mid afternoon.

A slightly earlier start to beat the weather. We started with a pair of nomad White-tailed Eagles flying overhead on the moorland. A few Ravens flying around too.

Next stop we spotted a herd of Red Deer on the hills, 2 Mistle Thrush flew by, Harbour Seals were hauled out on a reef, a Buzzard flew by before 2 Golden Eagles appeared flying along the hills towards us and landing beneath a crag giving great scope views!

Onto coastal habitat, we spotted a few Goosander, Red-breasted Merganser, 2 Red-throated Divers and 2 Great-northern Divers - the first in the loch this autumn and 1 was a lovely adult summer plumage bird. Further on we spotted an Otter fishing out in the deep water. A juvenile WTE then appeared behind us and showed well scope perched up in a dead tree.

After lunch we spotted 2 Otters a mother and cub fishing not too far from the coast showing well in the scope. Grey Seals were bobbing around in the loch and a distant Golden Eagle was over the far ridge.

The rain started mid afternoon so we headed for home.
