Jack and Klay headed to the Highlands to do a few days of ecological surveys, so Ewan did the Mull Nature Explorer today. A cloudless sky with yet more sunshine throughout the seven-hour tour.

At our first moorland stop we were privileged to watch a hen harrier food pass along with spotting a female adder. Slow worm and cuckoo were the other highlights as we headed further west. A short woodland walk was next, and we watched an active wt eagle enjoying views of a 3-week-old eaglet along with a proud mum nearby.

Into the afternoon we managed great views of golden eagles at two separate sites and finished with a mother and cub otter fast asleep on a coastal skerry!
