A bright start to the day, but still a fresh breeze with a bit of north in it! We had three tours starting from Tobermory again.

Ewan had a private tour and covered the north part of the island. Starting with fantastic views of a white tailed eagle overhead getting mobbed by a hooded crow. Further around the island, we had two golden eagles up on the wing and red deer on the moors with cuckoos calling and skylark singing.

Another White-tailed Eagle territory we checked appears to have a chick or (chicks) so that was fantastic to see! Good numbers of harbour sales hold out and a couple of grey seals in there as well.

Klay was out on a Mull Nature Explorer with guests and had some fantastic rap action, including white-tailed, golden eagle and hen harriers. They managed to glimpse of an otter and had some fantastic cuckoo interactions!

Jack was on a private tour with the same group for a fourth day this week. They took a look on the south of the island and enjoyed some coastal habitats. Admiring the sea caves and two of the guests even went in for a swim. Otters were seen round the south-west side on the group’s way back north.
