A very welcome settled high pressure spell has arrived on Mull and looks to be carrying on into next week as well. Beautiful sunshine with the songbirds in full voice!

On Monday Theo provided tours for guests from the cruise liner Majestic Line. They managed to see a Golden Eagle chasing a Cuckoo! Also, a WT Eagle v close to Tobermory as well! Mum and cub Otter were also seen during the trip, all bathed in beautiful Hebridean sunrise.

Jack had a Mull Nature Explorer with eight guests and some of the highlights included male Hen Harriers and a lone Otter. Both eagle species were also seen on territory.

On Tuesday 21st, Jack went across to Ardnamurchan with a group of 8 guests from Tobermory.

A beach walk in the sunshine to see GN Divers and Harbour Seals before lunch at the western point where Jack spotted an Otter and a Minke whale but sadly other guests did not get eyes onto them!

Good raptor action in the afternoon with both species of eagles up on thermals.

Theo had a half day family trip on Tuesday and managed to see the main spotlight species including a mum otter with a very small 5-month-old cub. Great views of a perched up Cuckoo in the field scope also!

Lots of GN Divers now in their dapper summer plumage as well!
