Ewan was on tour today, covering the south part of the island.
There was some fantastic hen harrier activity with two food passes, viewed by all the guests. A food pass is a spectacular aerial manoeuvre where a male hen harrier carries prey and passes the prey to the female midair, usually by the female doing a black flip.

A female otter was spotted along the coastline and two white-tailed eagles soaring overhead all at the same time. The guests did not know where to look, just too much at once!
The tour had a lovely coastal walk and lunch on a secluded beach. Very mindful walk looking at small invertebrates and plants mainly, very calming.

The afternoon highlight was a regal golden eagle perched up on a coastal crag, watching over its territory.
It is a wonderful time of year to see more wader chicks, including lapwing and oystercatcher, that seem to be everywhere on the island at the moment and always brings a smile to the guides and guests face.
